First Gray's Anatomy, then Desperate Housewives, Maria Shriver's newest commentary. More and more often we sit down to watch a show or series and find that the Alzheimer's plot thickens. Greater awareness is needed and if this is how we get the word out, we are all for it.
The portrayal, the stage, the ensuing events, the accuracy are all subjective. No two patients are alike, have the same symptoms at the same times, react the same to medicines, have onset at the same time in their lives. Some are genetic carriers, some are not.
Regardless, we are hopeful and we are watching!
